Branch-chain amino acids are made up of 3 different Amino Acids, Valine, Leucine and Isoleucine. These are important supplements to take before, during and after training to prevent loss of muscle after training intense. These can also be found in certain food, as all protein is made from Amino Acids. BCAA are used to breakdown and dispersal of protein within the body, which reduces muscle loss. The difference between BCAA and Amino Acid is the three main aminos (Valine Leucine and Isoleucine) are 8 of EAA (Essential Amino Acids). So all BCAA are EAA but not all EAA’s are BCAA.
